Had an "eating spree" with the gals last friday. We went to maxwell market to have the really-thumbs-fingers-up chicken rice, egg tart, hum chee peng and black sesame paste... Ate till we were so full... But nice... I like to indulge in good food, be it restaurants, hawker centres or coffee shops... N we went for a tour in the buddha tooth relic temple juz oppsite maxwell market. But we had to technically "wrap" ourself up as no mini-skirt, shorts, off-shoulder tops, bare shoulder tops, basically, revealing tops and bottoms are allowed. Luckily the loan of their sarongs are free-of-charge, else, dun tink we'll enter... But the sasd thing is, we were just in time for the closing ceremony of the tooth relic.. :( So we saw no tooth, or maybe it's relic? Actually, i'm nt sure what it is.. But I imagine it to b a tooth w colourful "pearls"! Haha..
And the finale for the day was midnight shopping @ Orchard. Kinda disappointed w Far East as most of the shops are closed. The only places whr business is as per normal were wisma and taka. Both jun and I got ourselves smth from topshop.. Hehe... We actually wanted to go back after the shopping as there were still buses and mrt, but we ended up @ Balcony for a drink. We still wanted to just chill for a while and catch the last bus home, but the place was juz so nice that we decided to hang ard longer since it's sat tmr and order snackies.. Haha.. This sounds more of like "piggies-night-out"... Oh, and Balcony really has cool chairs. Rocking chairs for all patrons on the 1st level.. Cool, u can juz sit, chill, 'rock' urself (sounds kinda disgusting) and chit chat till the wee hours... Oh, and 1 great thing abt the place is that, they're open 24hrs. How cool.. We jokingly mentioned that we can juz sit and wait for breakfast to be serve and catch the 1st train/bus home.. Haha... But of course we din...
